The same skills run every career. Only the pathway changes.
The In-the-Room Question runs through every layer of Wavelength. Ask of any concept, role, or student: what would this team stop being able to do without this in the room? Full method in "The In-the-Room Question" in your Teacher System folder.
Step 2, The Flagship Tool
The CTE Role-Based Lesson Builder™
The system's flagship tool, and its only patent-pending piece: a macro-enabled Excel workbook that takes the concept and career cluster you picked in Step 1 and turns your choices into a complete, print-ready lesson plan, five role-based versions (Worker through Owner/Entrepreneur), student handouts, absent-student make-ups, and a rubric.
It structures the teaching; it does not write the lesson content for you or replace the curriculum you already teach. It runs in Excel, which your school already owns, no new platform, no student data leaving the building. Every section has an override, every document is editable, and the teaching stays yours.
How it fits with the rest of Wavelength
Start in Step 1
Pick the concept and career cluster you're already teaching, that's what you bring to the Builder.
Build it here, in Step 2
Bell Work → Hook → I Do → Check for Understanding → We Do → You Do (5 roles) → Closure, with materials, UDL, and standards folded in as you go.
Then teach it with Steps 3 & 4
Pair the finished lesson with the system's role plays, games, vocabulary, and EQ or speaking tools, then assess and wrap up.
